About Uri
You deserve pieces that feel as considered as your life is complex — graceful in shape, highly finished by hand, and designed to last. Each Uri piece begins with you: how it will sit on your body, support your everyday, and quietly speak to your sense of self. We design for comfort, movement, and quiet difference — modern objects, slowly made to serve you well.Uri was born not just from design practice, but from the quiet work of rebuilding — a structure shaped by single motherhood, sustained in the hours when the world is still. Garments are drawn and cut at home, often while a child sleeps in the next room. Production is carefully timed around school hours, illnesses, and all the invisible weight that working alone brings. This is clothing built in the real world, for people who live in it with care. From patchworked remnants to fine silks, materials are sourced with thought — surplus cloth from trusted mills, heritage fibres grown in the Philippines, and leftovers stitched back into new forms. Even the scraps are respected.Every piece is an offering of quality and intention — not seeking attention, just built to last, serve and wear in well.Uri exists to support a broader ecosystem of care — from mothers in the Philippines, to craftspeople in London, to you. You make this possible.Thank you for choosing to wear things made this way.—Uri
