About us

Uri Studio

Uri is a design practice shaped by a childhood between East and West and a commitment to considered, crafted work. Each piece is made in tiny batches from a small garden workshop - practical, refined, and designed for everyday use. Materials come from what already exists: rescued linens, remnant cloth, heritage fibres, and natural dyes. Nothing wasted, everything considered.

The practice grew alongside the birth of my daughter and has been built around the rhythms of single motherhood - school hours, early mornings, late nights, and all the unpredictable quiet spaces in between. As she has grown, so has Uri, deepening its values of patience, responsibility and care.

All garments are made either by me or by small local factories within Greater London, where every maker is paid a true living wage. Fabric is sourced through trusted merchants, mills, and studio remnants - always chosen for longevity, character, and responsibility.

Experience designing across workwear and East London studios informs the finishing and detail, but the heart of Uri remains simple: garments shaped by constraint and made to endure - thoughtful forms for a thoughtful life.

Thank you, always, for supporting work made this way.
