Visserij began with references. I have kept for as long as I can remember, drawn from my own heritage, part Dutch and part South East Asian.
The curve of Dutch seamean’s trousers from the early 1900s runs through much of it, set against the linear square pattern cutting that shapes the other pieces. Oversized and unisex throughout, each garment is made to be worn across genders and function in more than one way.
All of it sewn in a small London factory and developed in a tiny workshop at the bottom of my garden.
Each piece is named for someone who was there during the season of life in which it was made.

White Reverie is rooted in care. High-thread-count linens once destined for waste are given a second life through thoughtful design, finished with the attention usually reserved for high-end garments - fell seams, pin hems, French seams. Each piece is cut and made by hand in a garden studio, shaped around the rhythms of real life. Working backwards from what already exists, honouring fibre, utility, and longevity. Nothing is wasted; every scrap returns into future forms. These are clothes for those who value substance over statement - soft, refined, and built to endure.
