A pocket worn at the waist, for the maker who likes her tools close.

Cut as a single curved panel that ties at the side, with one welt pocket sitting flat to the body. It follows the line of the old tie-on pockets that working women wore between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries, worn over the clothes rather than hidden inside them, a small carrier for the things a working day needs close to hand.

Made slowly in small batches in London.

Cream linen runs the length of the belt, the ends finished in a vintage sourced hand loomed Chinese check. The welt pocket and back panel are worked in the same small vintage blue hand loom check that runs through No. 2 quietly tying the two together.

All fabrics sourced from The Cloth House London. Hand loomed 100% cotton and 100% cream linen.
