Cut as a single curved panel that ties at the side, with one welt pocket sitting flat to the body. It follows the line of the old tie-on pockets that working women wore between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries, worn over the clothes rather than hidden inside them, a small carrier for the things a working day needs close to hand.

Made slowly in small batches in London.

Deep and even 100 percent linen from Cloth House in London, in Oat sourced from Merchant and Mills. Warm and earthen. The strap is cut on the bias so it falls softly at the waist, with a turn of contrast cloth where it folds at the front.
