Tobacco Brown Sanded Twill Egg Bag
A sculptural everyday bag designed to move with the body.
Each Egg Bag is made in the Uri garden studio using surplus trouser fabric from Bug Clothing, forming part of a closed, waste-free cycle.
Because these pieces are made from remnants, quantities are extremely small. Once a fabric runs out it is unlikely to return.
Every bag is made by hand in the garden studio and takes around one and a half days to cut, construct and sew

Choosing Your Strap Length
Please choose a strap length that works for your body.
For crossbody wear we recommend measuring first:
Use a piece of string and place it across your body as you would wear the bag. Measure the string with a tape measure to find the most comfortable strap length.

Materials
This bag is made from Merchant & Mills brown sanded twill, remnants from Bug Clothing originally used for her trousers.
The cloth has a soft, suede-like surface with a durable weight, giving the bag structure while remaining tactile.
The inner wadding combines recycled PET and wool, creating a soft form that holds its shape without stiffness.
--
Waste-Free Production
All Egg Bags are made from Bug Clothing trouser remnants.
Any pieces too small to use are collected and sent to fibre labs in London, where they are repurposed for future textile projects and stuffing.
Nothing is discarded.
Each bag is cut and sewn by hand in the Uri garden studio in very small runs.
